Students struggle with developing models from contextual situations. We will demonstrate how to teach topics using numerical approaches as a means for analyzing, understanding, and developing symbolic models. Content will cover a range of topics from Pre-Cal through Calculus III. Specific topics to be demonstrated are: Piece-wise defined functions, Exponential Functions, Work Integrals, Differential Equations and Logistic Growth, and Volume and Surface Area.
