Transforming Parent Functions using Modify and Dynamic Menu

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Participants will learn how to use features graphing calculators so students can investigate transformations of lines, parabolas square root, exponential, power, and sinusoidal function graphs.. Students can use these capabilities to find out how M and B affect linear equations and how A, H, and K impact parabolas as well as the impact of transformations on other parent functions. Come and learn how your students can figure out different ways to make a sine graph look like a cosine graph, or a parabola or power graph look like a straight line among other concepts.
